Since joining Free Spirits, I have spent many happy hours in the archives, ( a rich source of advice, wit/humour, kindness and empathy ) reading your past contributions. I hope that you will stay this time ...
Can't improve on that.plummy wrote:Great to have you back amongst the tired and sweaty brigade
Mind how you go with the rowing.

Welcome back Graham. If I recall correctly, it was you who sent me my initial invitation to join Free Spirits. Look forward to hearing about your future exploits.

Great to see you back Graham -- webberg!
Used to wonder whether to pronounce you as "webber, g" or like iceberg "webberg" and certainly enjoyed that you rearranged your name to include the erg
Of course you couldn't stay away.
Have fun getting reacquainted with the joy of meters. Here's hoping you row enough to find your name, mysteriously, jotted on a yellow sticky. (ask richard someday)
Cheers - happy cycling till the weather sets in.

Re: Prodigal returning
All the new postings by "webbergra" seem to have disappeared.
Is this related to Graham reverting to the "webberg" ID?

Oh yes - sorry but wanted to remind myself of just how it was.
I find that the older I get the better I was (sadly not borne out by reviewing the records).

Re: Prodigal returning
Thanks guys, Been very quite year on the rower, to the point when I took it out the garage. However like always the saucy minx lured me back with promises of improved fitness and weight loss. However she forgot to mention i have to diet as well!!
Anyway it's back and I completed the 200k prior to Christmas - lot harder than I remember!
Plan to get back into the rowing in the new year. Took up running but being a fat boy that really isn't good for my joints etc. So the plan is lose some weight with old faithful then slowly get back in the running.
Any way enough of that I'm off for another pie and chocolate.
Pete
