Mike, we've already explained that the barmaids only want your passport.

Anyway the one in the Hamilton Hall is 6'2", tattoos and a moustache - her boyfriend's no picture either. :P

The Hamilton Hall is actually just a WetherSpoons (sp?) pub. The useful thing is that it is actually INSIDE Liverpool St. station, and saves getting wet and cold. Beer is good and cheap, as per Wetherspoons in general. Oh, and the ceiling is quite impressive (seriously!!) - Is also becoming the stock gathering point for Spirits Beer nights.

Rob - wish you could be here with us. Will try and get some photos of assembled Spirits (and spirits) for you. (And I'm even coming to Ireland this weekend, but I know you can't make that either - shame again)

Ah, you don't HAVE to lie on the floor, but after a few beers it does sometimes happen...

The usual effect of a few beers on Thomas W-P is to start making claims of fast times and the ability to kick serious butt.

The effect on Mike is to imagine that he has become irresistible to any and all barmaids.

First part is definitely true, although he only seems to tell me he's gonna beat all my times.

Second bit - definitely not. It takes a large number of beers before that happens - honestly!!!!

And anyone there on the 15th can check out what really happens...

And I will be chugging up the M54 and missing all the fun :(

I will be in Covent Garden at 4:00pm tomorrow alone and in need of beer. Anyone around?

Not Covent Garden at 4, but could be around Bank or Liverpool St around 6:30ish. Fancy a trip to the infamous vodka bar????

I am so gutted I can't make it. We will have to arrange something for the New Year. Still so many names I need to put faces to.

Anyway have a good time, Hamilton Hall does get banged out though. Met up with some friends the other Friday at the Lord Alconbury - just outside the station - very nice

Graham - Hamilton Hall sounds a good start - anyone coming along make sure you have my mobile number (PM me for it) in case of any changes of plan/venue. How about a 6pm start? (Possibly even earlier now I have sneakily given away all my sessions on the last afternoon!)

Pete: Sell the kids into slavery, and bring Reets along (just don't mention where you got the extra beer money!)

Question. How do we recognise each other? Does Mike wear his performance T all the time? Is it possible to all buy white carnations in December? Or do we just listen out for the animated ergo discussion? :D :D :D

Guys, I work opposite the HH and plan on starting as soon as after 5pm as I can.

(We have a deal running that requires me to be near a phone until then.)

You'll all recognise Mike - he's got a flat ar$e.

Otherwise, go to the upstairs bar (the one with the attractive barmiads - see earlier posts). It's not that large. Look for the right hand side and we'll try to grab a table there.

Mike has my mobile but if anybody else needs it, please PM.

Redshell, what time is the draw?

Michelle, no need to buy a plane ticket - you can go on the train!

Another easy draw for the Mancs - bet Sir Alex McMoaner won't be saying that this one is a fix?

As I sit here waiting for a decision on our deal, Gooner is in the pub next door eyeing up various ladies.

One he thinks is Michelle who is perhaps on her way.

One is definitely not JanetS as she has only just finished he 60' piece in a new PB.

So do I go over and rescue him or go over and watch the entertainment? Hmmm .. tricky one that.
