Training ID's

Post by steve the slug »

To all

Sorry i am a bit behind the times and training ID's are posted on one of the other threads, is it possible for those interested to re-enter their ID details on here with only a single line entry therefore required and then we can pick up the training ID as required.

or has jlemon already done it or is planning to on his superb chart.

me extremely busy in work which is why little correspondence just logging the metres

slug.

Just a hint: you can get the ranking number for (almost) any user by looking at the picture URL or "send ranking user email" link on the team page.

I'm looking at collecting this automatically, but running into some minor technical difficulties (login cookies) which I haven't gotten around to figuring out yet.

Sshhhh! I knew that but thought it impolite to tell anyone. ;-) And since it is a two way thing there needs to be some communication between the two protagonists so having one end of the key is not much use...

and just added Mike Channin with 6253 - do we have any members with a lower ID? I thought that 17,345 was good, but I am third in the league!

Remember you need to both enter the code so it is worth PMing the other person to make sure they are doing the same. (Unless everyone adds everyones!)

And speaking of which -

If there is sufficient interest, I can see about setting something up so members can make their logbooks public (or public to the freespirits team, or only make distances available, or some other permutation).

Let me know.

New feature!

Post by jlemon »

Logbooks have been linked to each member's month page on the meter board site.

In order to display your logbook, you'll need to add FreeSpirit as a training partner in your Concept2 profile. ID # 248358.

Once added, the 'View Logbook' button will update the FreeSpirit database with your latest training records, then provide them for viewing. The first time this is done may take a while (especially if you have a lot of records) - subsequent views only need to update records that have been added since last time

Please let me know of any problems!

OK - done mine too, although it's still currently showing as not having given access. Presumably this is just propagation delay.

Must remember not to put anything too embarassing in my Logbook!

You don't have anything to be embarrassed about, Mike. Poor mortals like me are lucky to finish a half-marathon with a 2:19 av split time, as opposed to someone who completes their 7th full marathon in 7 days, with an average split of 2:20!
