New Young Female Lightweight Joins Team

Post by AlanS »

On Monday 11th March 2013 at 10.27pm, Isla Louise Strang was born. Weighing 8 lbs and 15.5 oz, she can clearly put on quite a bit of muscle-mass and still remain a LWT. :fswink:

Mother and baby are doing great. As is father. Heck, we were home from hospital less than 24 hours after leaving for hospital!

Big brother Owen is staying with grandparents tonight, but he came to see his little sister this afternoon, and he was clearly smitten. :)

Father now has four weeks off work. :D

Congratulations to you and Mrs Strang. Isla would do well in the weight adjusted racing right now ( although I suspect her age may play against her!)

Thank you all.

Isla is currently asleep in her moses basket. It would be unfair to say the house is now peaceful, as other than when she wants fed, she is a remarkably chilled baby.

I didn't mention this previously... while I'm off work, I have no access to a gym for a while. So a hired C2 Model D should be arriving on Friday. I still can't believe my wife is OK with the idea of having an erg in the house for four weeks!

The erg will be quieter, and require less nappy changes than Isla! But well done for sneaking it in, while she is in a moment of weakness!
