Quotes in the header - any suggestions?

Post by Thomas W-P »

I like the quotes in the header. If you have not noticed, they change randomly every time you look at a page on the site.

The quotes are easy to change and are:
motto[0] = "Virtually...the best";
motto[1] = "Free Spirits are willing but the flesh is weak.";
motto[2] = "Every metre matters";
motto[3] = "Every meter matters";
motto[4] = "Fat or thin, fast or slow: just row.";
motto[5] = "Unleash the power of the Free Spirits....row better, faster, farther!";
motto[6] = "I love rowing, I hate rowing, I love rowing, I hate rowing...";

Someone suggested "Row not wor", but I forgot to put that in. Does anyone else have any suggestions for a message for all to see on occasion?

More metres, less pounds (or kgs).

100m or 1 million - everybody and every metre welcome.

Pull, pull and pull again.

Catch, drive, glide, recover, repeat.

"I row, ergo, I am"

"Free Spirits: Because Thomas really does need to get to the moon"

"Time and tide wait for no man; but the erg lurks and waits for us all..."

"Free Spirits - Storming up the CTC leaderboard!!"

"My ar$e hurts - pass the bubblewrap!"

Um, better stop now....

Just noticed Simsy's quote has made the header:

"Every meter counts, every day counts, everybody counts."

Surely this should finish with "Everybody hurts, sometimes" (as in the REM song). Just seems SO appropriate...
