Buying kit... (if you have a long back read on...)
To get kit in time for Newark, the charity marathon and BIRC, we need to close orders on the Godfrey site by 30th September. I am launching this thread so people can discuss kit related matters.
The Free Spirits order page is: here on Godfrey's site.
I for one will be getting a fleece, loads of T-shirts, some spare shorts and I plan to race in the high performance T-shirt and shorts. At least something will be high performance when I row at BIRC.
If, like me, you have a long back and short legs, Godfrey say that you can contact them when you make the order and tell them and they will add 2" to the length.

Sorry - another question...
Will Godfrey be adding the logo to their database of logos - so it can be embroidered onto other stock kit (like the all-in-ones)?
all-in-ones are just comfey for egoing/rowing! plus when I look in the mirror it motivates to weight loss

1) There is now a XXXL performance top (yippee).
2) I am sure godfrey can put that logo on anything - I am guessing if you called them or emailed they'd be able to help. I think the logo adds £3.50 to the cost of a top but I am not sure. Please report back if you get anywhere.
3) Tamsin asked for rowing shorts for the order, and there seem to be no women's shorts on the list - but Godfrey say the shorts are unisex.
4) If you have a long back, contact godfrey when you have made your order and they will add 2" length to your top.

Hmmmm. I have ordered everything bar the long sleeve performance T as far as I can tell. I find that I am a kit junkie! I am emailing godfrey to request a long performance T because my legs are the same length as Mike's and I am 4" taller.
I have only got my name put on a normal T, and Tamsin's on hers - I could have gone mad - nearly got a beanie with "Free Spirits" on it.

Hi all - I finally got round to asking about the logo being embroidered onto their other stock kit, got a reply today:Thomas W-P wrote:2) I am sure godfrey can put that logo on anything - I am guessing if you called them or emailed they'd be able to help. "Dear Janet,
I will get the logo added to our online database next week. So, please try again after Monday and it should be there.
Kind regards,
Tom @ Godfrey Sports Ltd."
