Jackie Shuker is my other half, we were both members of WISE but Jackie had an accident at work and has been off the erg for 2 months, she feels like she will able to do some gentle rowing soon, so Ive talked her into joining the best virtual rowing team in the world, to keep her motivated and regain some fitness.
Also soon Im trying to get my daughter Jessica to join, shes 11 and can pull a straight 5000m no problem, so Im keeping my fingers crossed and Hope I can talk her into joining,
Nick Shuker

Welcome Jackie
I did wonder if you were related back in the old WISE days, but when Nick moved and you didn't, I assumed not - wrong again.
Jessica as well - a family of powerful rowers.
Puts the rest of us to shame!!!

150 up
Am I right in thinking that Jessica S is member 150?
If so, welcome to the mad house Jessica. Welcome also all those others who have joined in August.
We celebrated the 100 up with a challnge "Kockuck Century".
What should we do for 150?
Jessica brings 40,590 mtrs. This amount /10 x 15 = 6088. That looks like it might hurt and pull a 6k PB.
So Jessica's Joining Journey is 6088 - I'll post it now.

Ann, Peter & Richard
Welcome to:
Ann Seidman (USA)
Peter Seidman (USA)
Also.....
Richard White has now returned. Here is an email he sent me...
Paul I'm back.(richard.white@mageos.com) Have suffered a very bad neck injury so I'm slowing way down. Averaging 20K/day instead of 35. Due for messy surgery in the fall.So anyone from FSs who sends me a get well beer or drinks one on me behalf will be on my xmass list. There are a whole bunch of guys and gals from FS who stayed in touch. It really is a nice club and I am indeed glad to be back in the pack. Marathons are no to hard if you pace with the monitor.I usually take two or three breaks, as long as they are under four minutes the timer keeps running. It's a bit like doing repetitive splits. It's also easier if you have some pals on the sled next to you. Three hrs plus rowing is easier with two. Regards Richard.
