At last something to report..........
Season's best for the HM this afternoon
Was 1:26:15.1
now
1:25:03.8 (Average 2:00.9 split) - 26 seconds off a PB
Had to dig really deep in the last 5K to finish but kept thinking of the guys racing yesterday that I missed (and shouldn't have) so felt I owed the team a performance of some description
(Puts me 1st in the UK and 4th in the world ranking for 40-49 LWT at HM distance) - that'll feel good when the aches go away!

Seasons best 30 minutes today of 7302. It was supposed to be a pb attempt but the legs went on strike after 15 minutes. At least I finished the piece and I feel more positive mentally than I would have if I had given up entirely.
I am determined to improve my 30 minute pb at some stage this week - its my longest standing pb set last October and its time it improved

Well done J-R!
I'm going to contribute to resurrecting this as well, since my PBs all seem well out of reach at the moment.
But I did manage a SB in the dreaded 2K today, despite feeling the onset of a slight cold and wimping out a bit in the middle. Trimmed 1.2s off my time from a month ago to record 6:44.5, but still 8.3s outside my PB set in April.

Welcome to the madhouse geekgrl. Great to add your time to the board.
Now, how's about any new lightweight score. We've got 3 boats unfloated, and strange, strange boat make-up. If I understand any of this, one more new LW score will float one more boat.
We've got 2 boats with 3 HWs and 1 HW-F, and 1 boat with 4 HW-F. How 'bout it?!?

First attempt this season on the 6km today resulted in a knackering 23:53.1 (1:59.4). It was quite exciting as I was rowing a 6k handicapped race with 6 others on rowpro (some guys from the C2 forum who do a 6k every week).
Tried to row it all below 2:00 split but was tiring a lot halfway through. 30 seconds away from my PB but I'm still happy at this stage. I'll hopefully have my handicap revised for next week as I finished 6th out of 7.
