Wow that's quick! Not just a little bit quick but seriously fast ^O^ =D> ^O^ =D>. It's the fastest time in the world for your age this year... and last year... and it would have been 2nd in each of the previous 5 years. And you had enough in the tank to keep going!!!

Thanks V much - i knew i was going quickly, but was also in a rush because (as a Northampton Saints seaon ticket holder), we had a very early kick-off (12:15) for a cup semi-final........nothing like an incentive hahaha.

I've got 27 km to do on Friday morning and am definitly going to slow down for that one!

Motivated by Lily, Jon at the top of the meta nonathon board and my whimsical statement elsewhere that only a sub 3 hour marathon would get me anywhere near Jon......

This was not at all pleasant so I have extreme respect for Lily's focus to complete 50km - very best for that.

A bit scrappy, but pb is a pb: - 15s off my 10k.

Because next year's nonathon clearly was looking far too easy already....

With all this effort Ian, you really do deserve the top spot on the Meta-Nonathlon! You scores are down to very hard work and great improvements. My scores are down to a very poor season last year and a compulsive competitive streak. Keep up the great work! =D> =D> ^O^ ^O^ =D> =D>

A very scrappy 500m in 1:32.3 but I will happily take the improvement of 1.8s. That should be just enough to turn my meta-nonathlon score dark green but more importantly it keeps the PB run going. 12 months! The next aim is April so one full calendar season.

12 months...
Feb19 - 500m =1:32.3 @1:32.3
Jan19 - 1min = 340m @1:28.2
Dec18 - 30min = 8,111 @1:50.9
Nov18 - 2k = 6:50.3 @1:42.6
Oct18 - 4min = 1,181 @1:41.6
Sep18 - 60min = 15,550 @1:55.7
Aug18 - 60min = 15,361 @1:57.1
Jul18 - 60min = 15,301 @1:57.6
Jun18 - 10k = 37:09.2 @1:51.4, also 6k = 21:45.8 @1:48.5
May18 - 5k = 17:57.5 @1:47.7
Apr18 - 500m = 1:34.1 @1:34.1
Mar18 - 1k = 3:19.8 @ 1:39.8

Superb run of improvements. The heart rate training seems to suit you Image

Congratulations Max! Nice series!

The problem with PBs is that they make the meta Nonathlon tougher each year :-)

I am really struggling to get all green this season as I had PBs for all distances two seasons in a row!

So you and Ian have a lot to look forward to next season Image

Just broke my PR for full marathon with 2:55:49.9, besting 2:58:18.4 set all the way back in 2006!

Cheers,
Colin

Great result Colin!

Especially considering the extreme number of meters you registered this week. I saw a 40k just 2 days before that great PB
This way you will keep chasing up the meterboard... but take care to not overdo it!

Thanks, Tako! The 40k day earlier in the week was split 10k and 30k between morning and evening, so not that bad, but yes it was a heavy week. With a proper taper beforehand, I think I might crack 2:50.

Took another almost 4.5 minutes off with a 2:51:25.2 marathon today!

Cheers,
Colin
