What are you doing post lockdown?

Post by webberg »

Since I've returned to rowing and feel able to contribute to the threads again, I've been in contact with some of the people I first met (for real) via the club.

More than one suggestion has been made for a real meet up once we are permitted.

For a number of reasons (and not just because we used to have a rule that meeting for a drink had to be within half a mile of where I worked) London is favoured.

Any takers?

We can swap stories of how good we used to be and how Covid has robbed us of form!

I'm so new here. I haven't know a rowing world without a pandemic 😳
My first ever race was cancelled due to covid in March 2020. I would really enjoy a relaxed social pint.
I escaped London in 2016. Me & the M25 were done 😁 but I would return for leisure 👍

It's a great idea. I have never met any Free Spirits and would really enjoy meeting a few.

Could be quite a while before it becomes feasible, but I’d be interested in a meet up in London. Jennifer has two sisters and a brother living there and one of the first things on our list will be to pay them a visit. If this can be tied in with a Free Spirits get together, that would be great.
