Re: Nonathlon 2021

Some impressive totals so early in the season! Some of you have been active [emoji1303] Thanks Stan for starting the team. Some have been very active indeed. Perhaps I'll enter some more results as well, have been more training rows, no serious attempts to score a good time, but it might be nice to...

Let's see how long I manage to keep it up. Today an LSD for me, long slow distance. One hour with a heart rate below 120. 13937 meters.

Re: The Pete Plan

Been doing the Pete Plan off and on over the past years. More off then on, but the last few months been doing it more regularly. Saw Wolfie's post of the waterfall, did one today as well, and was a bit to enthusiastic in the first 3K I think. Felt strong but had been doing some other exercises as we...

Very impressive. And, though it makes one feel humble, also inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Re: JUNE CTC - Free Spirits to choose

I started typing a reaction but can't figure out at this moment which one I would really prefer. Not very decisive at the moment. Doesn't help a lot I'm afraid. Sorry :?

Re: May ctc - 1‘, standing start

Today being quite warm over here I thought it would be a good idea to do this one again in stead of a longer distance. Nive temperature for warm muscles and such. Managed to scape out 345 meters, the same as Tako, but he was the first one so he's still ahead of me of course. The last bit was very to...

Deep respect for a absolutely a wonderful PB, Colin. Good luck with all that short stuff, it'll be over in the blink of an eye as Wolfie states.

Re: do you want a new captain

I totally agree, Max, keep the free spirits free. But sometimes the captain can give just a little stimulation or guidance in some matters. But I want to emphasize the freeness. There were times when I was not very active either on the erg or in the forum (where I'm not a very frequent participant a...

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Great, Tako, well done. Sort of feel obliged to have another go now as well, not feeling very anxious about doing that. But what is a minute of pain on a lifetime? And James Hayter, well, that's just ^O^ ^O^ ^O^

Re: do you want a new captain

A big thank you and no planking need from me as well, Stan. Peter has offered to be of service, I'm sure he's a great candidate and I fully support him. Which would be the case in Dave's candidacy as well, but I don't really know if he has mentioned any aspirations in this direction. Perhaps he's sc...

Re: 2019/20 Summary and Aspirations for 2020/21

As mentioned before, I'm not as eloquent in English as most of you so I'll keep it simple. Moderately pleased with last season. In the nonathlon 10 points short of a 900 points average. Made it to 8090 points. Which is less then the year before (50 points) but still, it's my second best I guess (hav...

Re: Last year of the Meteboard? / Meterboard3

It is not as sophisticated as the other board, but it is cleverer and the code is much more beautiful. You will need to use this link to get to it and "This is me" won't work until you click "this is not me" then "this is me" on your personal page. N.B. The personal pa...

Re: JUNE CTC - Free Spirits to choose

Sounds terrible, Wolfie, so I think it's quite a good choice ;)
As for the rest intervals, I agree that a slightly longer period would be nice, but I seem to recall that the total time shoudn't be too long.

34 meters more today. For a long time I was heading for something like 1120, right in between last years' score and yesterday's, but had something left for the finish. Ended up with 1136m, seven less then last year. Perhaps after a less careful start? Have to work tomorrow so I don't know whether th...

Re: Concept2 Spring VIII Series

Entered a 4 minutes score. Didn't feel too well the last couple of days, but wanted to fill a seat in whatever boat available. Seem to feel a bit better this morning so perhaps I'll have another go at it. For now it's 1102 meters.
