Had a go at improving my SB for the HM - my weakest event this year - managed a 6:51 improvement which I am happy with : Tale of the tape: Distance : 21097m Time : 1:31.31.4 SPM : 22.6 DF : 218 (Strapless) Paul G Well done Paul =D> 6:51 seems to be the number today 😉

I have struggled this month with a mountainous workload and not found sufficient time to row. Three times I’ve attempted this and three times failed to complete :roll: Will have one last go early tomorrow... Lots of slow 70%-75%HR. If you can 2 a week at 90 minutes that should strengthen you mentally. I personally would plan one 25 or 30k as well but no closer than a week before your FM. Fully hydrated before you start. But have a couple of options of drinks if you wish to stop. I find it a pain in the ...

Lesley when you dropped the weight & increased the reps. Did you also introduce speed/dynamic into the movement ? I presume some of your lifts will have been Olympic based ?

I also think the erg has so many different events from 100m to 100,000m that you can never be ready to break PBs in all of them at the same time. Way too many different zones of endurance & speed/strength. I think it's only realistic to say you can only peak for any event twice in a year. You co...
