Second row nothing flash...total of 14k... happy with new (L) knee which was replaced on Nov 2nd 2011....feels strong and has good bend and pushes ok. So no excuses then eh?....Glad to be back doing something. :D

+21 Days post op and my first real go on the rower, 2x 500 meters at around 20 strokes per min.....left knee bending ok but no where near enough. Felt good...although cardio vas has dropped :shock: from just sitting around for 3 weeks, burning lungs...its just a start so hoping to start improving ev...

Thanks guys, i am certainly hoping the new knee turns out as well as the right i had done 6 years ago. Yep Bill the loss of the epidural block was a shocker, I reached the point where it was too painful to do anything but lie still and pretend i was courageous when actually i really felt like scream...

Just been discharged from hospital following total left knee replacement operation, tomorrow will be be one week since the op and it is all looking good so far. I am hoping for a sit on the erg this weekend just to see how it feels and maybe some gentle bending. The Op was done with an epidural so n...

Phew I am glad thats over...France definitely turned up to play on Sunday and made a great final, ABs were disciplined under fire and used up nearlt their reserves, the French were unlucky not to win,....New Zealand is buzzing, great competition.

Working on a Concept plan right now and had to do 2x20 mins..which seemed a nightmare...so did 10km instead not a great time but good enough for now as i have not rowed for some time...45:40...stacks to do to improve this...
