I definitely know the tune. From the early 70s, right? Sort of a blues-rock song?
Every time I try to catch the lyrics I segue into "I fought the law, and the law won" which isn't right (different decade, I think).
Cheers,

I know the tune... I just can't place it.
John Cougar... John Mellancamp... John Cougar Mellancamp Cougar... comes to mind... but I don't think that's right, either.

Guy -- that's just amazing! Very well done. ^O^ ^O^ ^O^ How do you get your heart-rate to drop while increasing your speed? That's a trick I'd love to learn. Max -- very nice PB! Those two splits in the middle look pretty painful, so well done on holding it together for the final split. I don'...

What did you change, diet wise? If you don't mind sharing... Sure thing. I don't mind sharing. :) But people can be pretty touchy about the foods they eat, and enthusiasm can often sound like preachiness, so I want to assure everyone that I don't care what anybody else eats. I'm not trying to chang...

Re: Name that tune
My father used to sing this song. It's Down by the Salley Gardens. Very good, Paul! Written by W.B. Yeats in 1889, shows up on many CDs of traditional Irish music. (I think I've got 5 or 6 copies in my collection.) Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet; She passed the salley gardens wit...

Glad your arm is on the mend, Dave. My back is feeling quite well. I have been doing static and dynamic stretching as well as Tai Chi. Other things are... not so well. Last week I was hospitalized for two days with heart attack symptoms. All tests for heart attack were negative, though, and the diag...

David - those are all very solid rows. Well done. ... but you have to start somewhere. Thanks zoot you have probably saved me a lot of heart ache and pain. Shang-Chi -- Those are some very nice rows for a 1st week back! David -- looks like a nice steady row! ========== I hesitate to even post my rows this week. I've been suffering recurring, acute back pain that has kept me off the rower for some time. I am starting to add workouts, b...
