Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

That’s a strong session and a busy agenda Mat. I did the 16/12/8/4 zoomergos session today. All massively disrupted by mid-session deliveries and the dog deciding he really, really had to go out this very moment. Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club

Plummy and I are having a couple of issues with the Lifetime Millionaires list. Can someone other than Plummy or I please access the list from the FreeSpirits homepage and tell me if you can still view it? The link is under the Meterboard menu. If you are picking up the new version you should see a ...

Keep it up Colin!

Slow and steady session today after latest COVID jab. Just focussed on keeping HR relatively low and on form. Strapless today to stop me getting sloppy.

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

The skeleton crew icon is a bone. Are they missing in your view? The skull is the icon for the adaptive athlete version of the challenge.

Hopefully you can see lots of bones. If not, let me know.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23

If I am not mistaken, FS1 came 5th and FS2 7th in November. Great effort all =D> =D>

The next distance is the 5K over the Christmas break. Nonathlon points on offer for those who participate in that too.

30 mins slow and fast for me today. I really enjoy this session ignore the target pace, I keep forgetting to delete it. There’s no way I would hold those. Meanwhile, great to see so much activity on here. COVID jab for me today, so fingers crossed I am feeling ok tomorrow. https://uploads.tapatalk-c...

Re: Nonathlon 2023

I was in the Nonathlon in 2017 (227th) as "J-Dog". I tried to register as that ID, but it didn't like the hyphen, so I guess that restriction came in since then? Happy to have the accounts merged, if there's a way to do that, but don't worry if it's a pain :-) There you go -> https://www....

Could you add in JDog as a Free Spirit, please? I'm just getting back into rowing after some years away, so please don't worry about my 11:55 2K time - I'm going super slowly to start with, after a minor heart op :-) Thanks. J-Dog PS - many thanks for the free Nonathlon site, those who support it! ...

what training have free spirits been doing today?

I've understood the Zoomergos row from earlier in the week now. My description above/below isn't quite right. The structure is: 12 mins r20 at 2k+20 4 mins r20 at 2k+18 1:30r 9 mins r22 at 2k+18 3 mins r22 at 2k+16 1:30r 6 mins r24 at 2k+16 2 mins r24 at 2k+14 1:30r 3 mins r26 at 2k+14 1 min r26 as ...

what training have free spirits been doing today?

Interesting Zoomergos session today with Darryl Preston. The session was 16/12/8/4 mins at r20/22/24/26 1:30r. The interesting part was the structure within and between intervals. The first interval started at 2K+20 for 12 minutes and then 4 minutes full-gas at r20. The next session (r22) then start...

Well done on the SB and for pushing through that Lesley. Sometimes it turns out a barking coach is an asset! By the looks of it, if it wasn’t for that fourth interval you would have smashed your record.

Captain Nag here. With a week to go we have eight seats filled for FS1, just Felton needed to have a full complement, but the boat is afloat. FS2 has four seats filled with five rowers still to enter a time. Remember, any time is better than no time at all folks. Captain Nag signing off....for now. ...

Holiday Challenge Starts November 24th

Row, ski or ride as much as you can between American Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Honorboards and downloadable certificates for everybody who reaches 50k (adaptive and kids only), 100k and 200k.

I will get the Meterboard icons set up at some point.

Nice row there Jon. I've tried 4 times at least to beat my slack time but cannot mentally get past 15 minutes at any sort of pace any more. I'm having another go within the hour but have exactly the same expectations - abject failure. A couple of things Plummy (1) Your slack time is a time, which i...
