See where you're coming from Paul, but it's the right artist with the wrong song

Massi, you're on the list now, and you've also added almost 1.4 million meters to the Free Spirits meterboard =D>.
Well done, even though that knocked me down one spot

For the next one I chose a non-English language worldwide hit (and don't worry Plummy, it's not Dutch ):

Re: Mud Season Madness 2018

6 days out of 7 at 10k plus for me. Start to have aches in places I didn't know I had places! Not sure how long I can keep going, but I'll give it a try. Paul, you can always give yourself a day off rowing, or split the 10k up into 2 easy 5k's  Sheena and myself have done the 10k 8 out of ...

Re: Name that tune

It's Songbird, by Fleetwood Mac?

Took me quite a while to get to the title, knew it was Fleetwood Mac.

Re: March ctc - 2 x 15 min / 3'r, static starts, the slower to count

6k pace sounds about right. Sheena tried to go quicker than that and was OK in the first rep but not the second, and I decided to go slower and found that I could have gone quicker.

Re: March ctc - 2 x 15 min / 3'r, static starts, the slower to count

So the first 2 entries are in on the CTC website, and they're both Free Spirits  Sheena and myself started our 10k Mud Season Madness with doing this month's CTC + warmup and cool down. Didn't quite know how to pace them, so I took it too easy on the first 15min (and then could take it easy...

Re: Mud Season Madness 2018

Hi Jill, Sheena and I are also hoping to complete the challenge this season. We've done the 5k challenge a couple of times before, but last year we weren't able to do it. This time we're planning to do the 10k version - that will be the most we've ever rowed in a single month  We're planning ...

Re: February ctc - 500m / 2'r / 1250m / 2'r / 500m, rolling starts except #1

It's great to follow everybody's progress on the CTC, well done to all who have completed it (and with some very impressive times)! This type of CTC is not really my favourite, because I've been neglecting the short distance / high stroke rate side of things, and am getting out of breath more quickl...

Re: January ctc - 1000m/250m/1000m/250m/1000m (R:2'/3'/2'/3')

It's inspiring to see people posting some great results - with or without having fun :) This month I have been putting the CTC off again, since I haven't been doing much sprinty stuff and wasn't looking forward to this one. However I feel that I can't miss out here, so had a look at what my 1k inter...

I'm sure you can rise to the challenge and add 9m to your target Jan  Hmm, thanks for the vote of confidence  I'm afraid that I chickened out after today's warmup, and continued with a row for the meterboard  There's still New Year's Eve of course, but the smart money is on you s...
