Re: Anyone had any SEASON's bests recently?
Started out on a CTC 10k today and once again hit the buffers early on so converted that to a warm-up and had a crack at my 1000m: 03:38.1 1000 28 0 01:49.0 00:43.2 200 29 0 01:48.0 00:43.7 400 29 0 01:49.2 00:44.0 600 27 0 01:50.0 00:44.1 800 29 0 01:50.2 00:43.0 1000 29 0 01:47.5 SB and 49 Nonathl...

Re: Anyone had any SEASON's bests recently?
We can't let Paul get too far ahead. It seems that every day he adds a couple more points - teasing us I reckon. My Half Marathon was rowed at an average of 23 spm and a a split time of 2:13.3 whick spookily  were the exact figures for my CTC 10k the day before. Should I have tried harder on...

Yes Alan. Two days rest is better for me so that's the way I'll go. Cracked all the Nonathlon targets now so I will start at the top again and work on my 500m to try and get close to Paul Victory's time:
The sequence commences again next week!

Re: Anyone had any SEASON's bests recently?
Half Marathon for the Nonathlon today. I set off with the idea of keeping to an average of 2:15 but managed to keep below that. 01:33:48 21097 23 02:13.3 08:52.4 2000 25 02:13.1 08:51.2 4000 23 02:12.8 08:51.1 6000 23 02:12.7 08:46.5 8000 24 02:11.6 08:49.7 10000 24 02:12.4 08:56.8 12000 23 02:14.2 ...

Re: Beginners
For a 500m TT, I'd be doing a longer warm up. It's horses for courses but I reckon that you'll do a better 500m time if you set out for that specific target on the day. 5k is not to long a WU provided you don't go flat out and of course take a recovery break between the WU and TT. Two days off this week and a hiccup in the middle meant that I only did 2 x L4's but two SB's with 500m and 10k:

Re: Anyone had any SEASON's bests recently?
Set off to do a 6k TT but abandoned after 2.5k. Didn't feel right. Paddled around for a further 4k and then had a crack at my 500m and lowered my SB by 5 seconds to 1:35.9. The old legs let me down though. I just couldn't hold the split or speed up after the first 200m. Still, something salvaged fro...

For some reason, the recordings have been reversed for the month. Check your personal sheet by clicking on your name and you will see what I mean. I have reported it in the appropriate thread.

Re: Goodbye Meterboard. Hello Meterboard2.
Something odd going on: Many of the FS who rowed this weekend are showing duplicate amounts of metres for Friday and Saturday. In my own case, the number are both incorrect as I didn't row on Friday. The system is showing that I didn't row Thursday but I did. additionally, the day count on the month...

Yes Alan - tomorrow is my rest day. I see where I've been going wrong on the 1500m then.
To get like for like comparisons, I'll have to stick with what I've started I guess.

Re: L4s, etc...the Wolverine(sque) Plan
Had a little dabble at the WP this week to try and get back on the horse. Hopefully, I'll keep it up. I was getting bored with the C2 Workout of the Day:
I got the L2 and L3 back to front but still achieved the week's goal.
