[I think 6:30 GMT = 7:30BST, and 7:30BST = 8:30 in France (TEF??), so I reckon you need your times on the schedule to be two hours before French time. Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to enter the wrong time. Paul V Thomas' explanation is correct Paul. Central Europe Time (CET) is GMT +2 durin...

Musical Opinions - add yours here :-)
Mr Webber has made an analysis of certain bands and musical styles, like so (I've added a few comments); White Snake? - good band but should have stopped years ago. OK live, one good album. Genesis - Phil Collins backing group who never made a good record. Great live, albums are boring. XTC - great ...

Re: QUEEN !!!!
Have to agree with you about the final albums. Some good songs on Made in Heaven though, and I think I read somewhere that it was one of, if not the, biggest selling Queen album. I think my favourite is also News of the World, although they are all great. Recently got Hot Space out and listened agai...

Re: QUEEN !!!!
You'll love it as long as Brian May doesn't try to sing and sticks to playing his guitar. Another discussion point eh Graham :P "Love of my life" sung by Brian is an absolute classic, has to be one of the best live tracks ever for emotion and atmosphere. (Thinking about it, he let ...

Re: Rowpro 10K Thursday 1740GMT 1840BST
Have to say I really, really enjoyed that. I got a good workout concentrating on keeping 1m in front of Dave if I could. Great to help someone reach a goal, but all the praise should go the Dave for knocking a whopping 40 odd seconds of his PB. Looking at his new 2k & 5k times earlier I question...

Dave, I'd be happy to pace you to a 39:59.x. Even 1:59.8 splits all the way.
See you in the chat room.

Hi Tom, all I would suggest (and I'm certainly not medically trained) is to listen to your body. Start the recover slowly, and if it aches or hurts - go slower, or STOP!
Good luck

Brilliant stuff guys, all excellent improvement on the previous times too.
Bill, it's been a pleasure to watch your progress over the past few months. Hell of a job. Now enjoy the satisfaction of sub7 for a week or so before you start to focus on the next target (6:55 or less?) for BIRC

I'll be eating and drinking what I want, not worrying at all about a race plan, and generally not panicing. Oh yeah, forgot to mention I can't make it. Now have a family day out instead. Sorry I won't be meeting some new faces and cheering you on. For the race virgins though, the butterflies will be...

Bill, which model erg do you have?
I have a D and find it really difficult to get the C-breeze to fit effectively.
I know there are several "Heath Robinson" ideas on the C2 forum but they all seem too much trouble to me.
Any "easy" fixes would be greatly appreciated.
