Re: July CTC - 5k/2k 7min rest, 1 at 20SPM

Well done all June finishers ! ...sorry, forgot to write about June CTC, the 2 miles in the middle were awful. With the July CTC... sub7 has once again shown great inventiveness. I deliberately chose the 2k with strokerate restriction followed by the hardcore timetrial over 5k.The approach was as fo...

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

It was just some weeks ago...i asked myself- will you ever do those 100k ? The answer was no. But on Saturday there was a unique opportunity. If i have a free Saturday i normally do something with the family or go out for a ride with the bike. For some reasons it was meant to be bound in front of a ...

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Also I experienced a decoupling of HR to pace for the final 40% (mentioned after your first PB post). Looking back I think I should have seen this as a warning and slowed a little. The podcast with Ed Coyle dives deep into HR Decoupling...it is a physiological process...caused by many factors...in ...

Thank You Paul, Iain and Wolfie ! very interesting HR Data Iain HR Drift or Decoupeling - a very interesting phenomenon during (prolonged) exercise. i have been monitoring HR for years...it's interesting how it is changing - or not changing its behaviour during exercise. HR is influenced by variable...

Re: Rowing Apps - What's Hot and what's not

i also had a pm4...now a pm5- updated it only for the use of zwift- with a pm4 you have everything a purist indoor rower needs- thx to ant+ HR compatibility, and for Ergdata you can use the cable. Ergdata is a great software for indoor rowing, completely free, no adds, it just does for what it is bu...

"The last workout of this season"

Hello, with this sentence I would like to say goodbye to the season 20/21. And summarize some thoughts about it. Feel free to join me with your thoughts about your season. The last workout of this season is the smallest recovery session I sometimes row. A very unspectacular 3333m. But this season wa...
