Guilty pleasure is too nice a term...

Their songs were everywhere and, unfortunately, burned into my brain as a result.

Re: Name that tune

Do your dance, do your dance, do your dance quick, mama! Word Up - Cameo I think Plummy's dead on - even after hearing the answers, I didn't recognize 3 of the last 4 songs. I knew "Smoke on the Water", but didn't recognize the lyrics quickly. I still check the thread every few days... :)

Re: Leg strengthening exercise to get into a scull

Mr Squirrel, It's very hard to beat good old-fashioned squats for leg strength. They are considered a foundational exercise in any good strength-building regimen. I would suggest starting with 0 weight a couple of times a week and adding slightly more each week over time. "Slightly more" c...

Alas, there was no one in sight
To fulfill their grand thirst's delight
So their fanciful beers
Filled with very real tears
As they considered walking "into the light".

The band has not been named yet, but here's another (giveaway) clue.

All I can do, I've done
But memories won't go
No, memories won't go

Re: Name that tune

Time for some clues for this super-easy one... :D Originally released in 1967 by an American singer-songwriter and received a somewhat tepid reception. However, was remade in 1983 by an English pop band and hit #1 in the US and UK (and others). I was wrong, Now I find, Just one thing makes me forget

Close enough! :)

The one with (part of) Aerosmith & Run DMC was the 1986 remake of Aerosmith's 1975 original from the Toys in the Attic album.

Your turn, sir!
