Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Over a minute and a half off my HM PB this evening aiming for anything close to 90 minutes, 1:29:35.3 quite acceptable as I did my warm up in the piece, some numb bits and sore hands but chuffed with the PB. :D

John, perfect fit and certainly raises the profile of the club as four people asked what 'Free Spirits' are whilst walking from Hotel Room to the Gym.

Cheers.

39 when I first wake up and low fifties during the day. These figures are both ten to fifteen BPM lower than they were prior to taking to rowing.

Paul, Well done on getting to the milestone of below 100kg, enjoy the celebration meal but sustainable weight loss IMO is about finding a 'new' normal which allows the enjoyment of good food and drink but is a balanced approach. Congratulations to both of you on reaching 35 years together, there oug...

Sander, when I improved my HM PB by only 7 seconds and complained that an hour and a half of effort really should have generated a more significant return, my wife replied "just row faster next time"........ #-o Some people really don't understand. Well done on the improvement.

It's quite useful to know that a pint of Stella is 260 calories, set your PM to calories and it tends to reduce the consumption! :?

Re: The MOVEO 1000 km Project

Plummy did you weigh in prior to starting today's onslaught? How do you think you are holding up physically? Are you balancing the calorie burn rate? The consequence of not getting it right now will make it much more difficult in the days to come... Stay strong and do what you know you need to do! E...
