Re: Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships 2018

Can't believe how popular the 50+ category is!!! This was taken after a long hike so hopefully I won't look quite so knackered (at least before the race) and I'll have glasses on. Silver Nike top and black fleece.

Re: Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships 2018

Felton, Whilst I would not claim to be experienced here are a few ideas based on entering BRIC for the last two years.... Arrive in plenty of time so you are not rushing and can familiarise yourself with the venue. Look up online what the monitor race setting looks like and the start procedure is. H...

Thank you Jill, very much appreciated. If I don't take December off and if I enter into some March madness and if I'm lucky I might just add another million by the season's end

Re: November CTC - 11x111 r1

Not sure if this helps but I have done some 20x100m intervals this season... - Drag factor set at max =206. - Each interval is consistent even the last ones so power is the limiting factor not fitness. - For me, this means pace will not be faster because it is 'only' 11 intervals. - It takes 12 stro...

Re: The Interactive Plan (IP)

Ian, Nice steady pacing and HR lower. It looks like you have chosen the lowest recovery time (25%) for this session. Have you used the min recommended for each of your sessions? Also, as you use a HRM I'm interested in why you choose to use a set recovery period rather than wait until your HR is bac...

Re: October CTC - 1934m/2206m/400m/200m 2'r

Janet, Great increase! In terms photos I think it depends on what device and apps people use. I use Erg Data on my android phone when I row and it syncs the sessions to my Concept2 log. Afterwards if I want to post an image I use a tablet to go into my logbook and take a screen image (a simple hand ...

Not much of a last minute splurge of metres but enough to get me to a nice tidy 200,000 for the event. Happy enough with that... Plummy, Well done but I really wish I had not seen your post! It made me check my meters and now I feel duty bound to row 17,947m later #-o. ...please consider on adding ...
