Just saw this, many thanks! Although maybe there should be a minimum contribution of meters to warrant a birthday shout out [emoji3]

Re: March CTC - 30 minutes

Hello everyone! Got to the gym today intending to do a light warmup then go for a swim but saw that the old beat up and frankly almost unrowable old machines had been upgraded to brand new Rowergs so really had to have a go. Went with the classic 30r20 which was a bread and butter workout for me bac...

Well it's been 163 days since I last sat on a concept 2 rowing machine [emoji15]

I've done quite a lot of running while the gym was closed so still fairly fit but just don't have the strength I used to have but actually very happy with the result to go sub 2 min pace

Re: The Pete Plan

Time to get back on the plan, I think [emoji3] 8x500m 3:30r 14:03.9 4000 1:45.4 34 Picked the pace pretty well as I was pretty even through all 8 splits and didn't even have a sprint finish in me. Rowing twice a week at the moment so planning on one Pete Plan session per week with the other a long l...

Re: October ctc - 30 mins., standing start, unrestricted

Some nice early efforts so far, well done[emoji3]
This was my first hard effort TT since before the lockdown so quite pleased to beat my 19/20 SB by 32m. Some way off my best but decent nonathlon points now I've lost a few kilos and can maybe push on towards 8000m by month end

September ctc - 5k, standing start, unrestricted

Well done everyone for the early entries [emoji3] Well, back on a concept 2 for the first time in five months and boy am I rusty! I have done quite a lot of running over lockdown and shed a bit of extra weight to get below 75kg so I guess this is a lwt pb! I feel pretty fit but my erg specific muscl...

Inspirational achievements Philip, many congratulations [emoji3]

Had a go at the IRL 10k today restricted to rate 24 and managed to dip under 38 minutes for a season's best

Great to see so many entries already[emoji3]

I actually did this workout last month by coincidence and got 4474m so reasonably happy to more or less match it for the first try with 4473m. Managed 4514m in 2017 so that is the target for the rest of the month

1st attempt at the 6344m - went pretty much to plan but slowed down a touch in the middle resulting in a time 6 seconds slower than last year. I will definitely have another go at this and will hopefully dip under 23 minutes [emoji3] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191105/1e716f05251a59f58e709f88...
