Re: A big(ish) year

Not been rowing for a full year yet but I've been going at about 1.5 million per year for the last few weeks. Aiming for 5500m per day to get to 2 million will be a good target for me. Anything more than that will be a bonus.

Re: Meter board banter

H'mm, It's getting more odd Bill :-k :-k . Now there are only 76 Free Spirits on the meterboard, I'm not one of them and no-one has the book icon. I still exist on the C2 Logbook so it's probably because I haven't rowed yet since 30th April so maybe I'll reappear after I log some metres tomorrow :?:

Re: Meter board banter

If memory serves, the metreboard will look a bit screwy for a couple of days at the turn of the season. For those who are new and wonder if it's all going to come right - it will, rest assured, nothing will be lost. I've noticed that a while ago I lost the little open book icon next to my name on t...

Did an hour on the 24 hour relay but wasn't expecting to be posting in here as well  . Full of stress after two frustrating days at work I managed to blast out a very messy PB.

Straight home and on the erg at 16:30 BST after two very very frustrating days at work ](*,) . I think I must have been OD'ing on adrenalin  . I managed to blast out an entirely unplanned and very messy PB at 14225m for the hour \:D/ .

Re: Team 100 hour relay - 22% full as of 13th *March*.

Hi Thomas, I've downloaded an offline copy of the spreadsheet and I think I can edit it to make it 24 hours without completely messing it up - but which 24 hours. As it started off as the 72 hours up to the end of the season presumably it should be 24 hours to the end of the season. i.e. all day Tue...

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Thanks Millie. You're right about the 1k PB. I've actually beaten it tonight doing the C2 WOD, as my third 1000m interval was 3:58.8, but I will set a 'proper' time in the next couple of weeks - so watch this space. I might be able to sneak a bit off the 500m too but that will be much harder.

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Dave, I wasn't expecting to be able to go faster for the same effort, if only ... , but wondered how the DF affected my ability to deliver a higher power. Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

The damper setting is influenced by being in close proximity to walls and other solid obstructions. If possible try to keep it at least one metre away from such objects. Temperature and air pressure also affect the DF so check it each time you row. :D Bill :fswink: :fswink: Thanks Bill. I checked i...
