It IS worth it Paul-the young lads I know who do regular 2k trials all have buckets ready by their ergs apparently !I dont know if the coach empties them or themselves :lol: :? Been there a couple of times, worst was after a 2000 test, I could only make it to a 2nd story window, and left a trail do...

Mixed fortunes...tried a 2k to go sub 8' from 8.04...blew out going off to fast and nearly vomited...only managed 8.02 in the end...still a PB...but nowhere near you big hitters yet. Later in the session i did a 10 k again and realised that i could PB that too and reduced it from 44'.26 to 44'. 17.....

Great great times...well done guys and gals.....it gives me inspiration and targets...although i doubt a sub 40' for me this year. Thats my target...first 10k i hated but my third felt more in control.....I love the idea of a rowpro row...you could all get a cuppa while i finished.....

Thanks Stan....yeah feeling great and glad I found this site. I have always been fit in the past, I am a former Royal Marine and done lots of running, unfortunately like many ex Bootnecks the knees are shot and one has been replaced which makes for poor position on the rower at the catch...they dont...

Completed first 10k for CTC today :oops: Hard going as i started faster than i should have done :? Enjoyed the experience....needed to concentrate near the end....46':10:8 at 2.18s...Things can only get better!!!!
