Re: Welsh Indoor Rowing Championships

Seems like another great day of Free Spirits racing! :fswink: William, congratulations to yet another gold medal! Nothing seems to stop you in this season. =D> Lee, I'd be happy to row a 6:38 for 2k flat out, let alone with stopping twice over the distance. Very generous of you to leave the medals t...

Re: CTC for December

Sounds to me you youngsters are making life difficult. Surely if the end result is av. 25 it does not matter about the occasional 24/26. It's not about making life difficult but to ensure to know that the session is at or below 25 spm before it's end. I just don't want to realise afterwards that th...

Re: CTC for December

Mat, as I'm facing the same problem of never having done a stroke rate restricted session before I would like to add a similar question but for PM3/4 (sorry I can't offer an answer on the PM2 question): 1) How do I know my current average stroke rate DURING the session? My solution would be to divid...

Re: Holiday Challenge 2009

You needn't register for this challenge: "After you row/ski, record your meters in your Online Logbook. The Online Logbook automatically calculates your meters during the Challenges." I remember I got two nice green trees on the meterboard last year. Having said that, where are all those f...

Re: The Pete Plan

Cliff, that was an unusual pacing indeed  The PP sessions are supposed to be done at equal splits with only the last one done faster (if possible). Only if you are feeling well and want to attack your target pace more you might change from constant splitting to negative splitting. Positive or ...

Looking forward to your after race reports :fswink:
