Re: Where is Scoop aka ErgoSum aka Lawrence?

Laurence,

I'm very happy to read about your new job and a new positive perspective for you and your familiy.

I hope you will soon like it as much as a new HM PB :D

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

I think that you'd go even faster with slightly more even split. Thought about Lee's statement and had a second go at the HM today. Plan was to start faster than friday, hope that the point of pain will come late and than empty the tanks. This is how it went (friday's splits in parenthesis): 2000__...

Big congrats Trish, very impressive way to create demand for easter chocolate eggs :D I think when Bill's visits became more reluctant he wasn't watching the GP but was looking for some easter eggs as a reward for you. :fswink:

Spider, well done on holding it together in what seems to have been a very tough session! Looks like this thread is going thro one of its quiet periods again!! For my part I'm having a break in the PP and am concentrating on some meter munching for the WRC. R1 - 1.44.9/33spm R2 - 1.44.9/32spm R3 - 1...

Thank you for your encouragement guys! :fswink: Neil, I had a look at our PB cabinets. It's amazing how closely we are matched. I didn't know your HM PB before starting myattempt, i promise :fswink: Lee, you're right, I could have gone faster with a more even pacing. My problem was I wasn't sure abo...

Nice 5k work there Matt! Christine, great rowing and great to know that your rib doesn't bother you so much any more. Painless laughing is so important! :D

Bill, excellent half marathon, very well done! =D> =D> Neil, did I spot it correctly that you have a new PB for 5k? After your 6k PB you said you had a 5k PB as well in 18:14.7. Now your signature says 18:01.6? Did I miss your post regarding this? Anyway, brilliant 5k! =D> =D> (But I guess that you'...

Very busy training plan there Jonathan! As you said your challenge attempt felt comfortably, are you going to have another tra at this one? Time fo the speed pyramid for me yesterday. Re: The Pete Plan

Stefan, that looks like a serious and controlled 10k. I second Huw's opinion that you can go sub 1:48 pace on that distance if planned. I also get annoyed by people passing me while I'm erging. Many don't consider that you move forward AND backward on a rowing machine. They often bump into me (and a...

Hope the cold has been cured in the meantime! In the runup to Boston Bill mentioned he might switch to running after the B's (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=661&start=2825) so that's probably an additional reason why he has been rare on the forum lately.
