Re: July CTC - 8x500m rest 3'

Wow, great time JG.
A little more perspective... I'm nearly 6'4", over 14st, and I currently can't do ONE 500 at your average for 8
Who knows where you can go with your current "new" training regime, just keep at it :D

Re: Fantasy Football

OK, I've signed up to defend my Free Spirits title (although I'll have more than 1 eye on the fizzy pop league this year :( )
Just need the league code, if there is one.

Re: 72 hour team relay on 24th: sign up on the link above

Hi Woj, honest enough question. For previous events we have recorded our meters on the actual 30 minute section of the main relay page, directly under our name. I'm assuming it's the same this time. (although, just checking the page, maybe not!). Thomas or JL, can you help? Will the sign up page jus...

Kirby, Congratulations on the 5MM =D> . C2 will send you a long sleeve shirt as a reward. Personally, I think Strider should send you a poster of the picture/avatar he has next to his name. Yeah, did we ever find out who that is? (not an earlier picture of the lovely Sharon Davies is it?) Oh, and w...

Re: Padraig Harrington

Yep great weekend's golf. The best man definitely won (although I'm English I'm glad Poulter didn't win too Paul!) Pity Norman couldn't follow it through, would have been one hell of a story. Also a pity Birkdale charge so much to play. I'd love to play it but at something like £200 a round I think ...

Re: BIRC 2008 Anybody going?

The restaurant is where we went last year, which was fine though very busy. I liked it but wonder if our Birmingham locals might have other suggestions? This would depend on the requirements of course. Italian suits most, as it covers the de-rigour pre-race meal, pasta. It's central. Quite a few ha...

Re: Should drug cheat Chambers run in Beijing?

I would 100% totally agree with you Paul, what a farce. No drugs cheat should ever be able to ply their trade again.

I can't believe there's even discussion about it, but there is - and more.

It's a very black & white subject I think, no middle ground.

(PS. check your PMs)

Agreed Spike, that's an excellent result Michelle. With possibly more there?? Afraid I went the other way. Started at 1:39.x for the first 4 reps, then struggled from there. Finished with an average of 1:40.9. The last 4 reps were so uncomfortable it's put me off having another go, however Petr has ...

It just wouldn't be the same if Thomas wasn't doubting himself before a race, he does it every time. Normal race prep for him (eh Thomas?).
I'm glad he's doing it this time, means he'll exceed expectations as normal.
Remember the 40 B4 40 Thomas, you can and do achieve great things!
