Re: Happy Birthday Peter

I've never really understood how/why Sake has it's own "classification". I.E. its not beer or wine etc.
Just a totally different process I guess.
We flew to AU last year on ANA and even the 'basic' Suntory on the plane was excellent (I am new to whiskey).

It reads as though it could be "Piano Man", but on the other hand I'm pretty sure it's not.

Re: Erg Maintenance Seat Upper Roller

The maintenance packs from C2 are very good value. They include rollers, new bungee cord, and foot straps, for less that £100. I've just bought 4 packs and will attempt my first "erg servicing" at the rowing club on Thursday (gulp) How did the service go? My foot straps definitely need ad...

As always, some fine efforts going on here.
With apologies to Peter and Fred I've just posted 2792
It was actually a genuine attempt to try and pop ahead of Joe, and despite one of the rolling starts registering 3:35/500  seems a decent last couple of reps put me ahead of target.

Re: December CTC: 500m

Almost forgot again! However, the river was high this morning so 4 of us decided on an erg session instead. Had a sneaky look at the scores ... Second one today. When I entered my time I saw Peter had just rowed 500m in 1:37.2. I happened to finish in 1:37.1 Very close :fswink: ... so sub 1:37 was t...
