Re: Virtual Team Challenge

I normally tidy up the dog's breakfast that the software makes of some surnames, but I don't have time today I'm afraid. Well done all. We are hanging on to 16th at the moment. There are 5 days remaining! 2 Superheros Dwayne K. Adams - 734,876 metres. Predicted - 876,198 metres Mike Channin - 655,12...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

That's a good session Spider. I wouldn't have a hope of keeping track of the splits to be able to -ve them all!

I'm still mostly plodding on with 3x10 r20 sessions at the moment, so not posting them here.

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

ZoomErgos session with Matt Parish today. 4x8min 2:00r with various rating changes from 22-26. I find these video rows far easier to get through than a solo session.

Re: January Revolutions Challenge - 2024

I have gone for the 15-hours option but I don;t think I will get anywhere near it. I'm mixing up my training a lot more this year and so time on the ergo has dropped significantly. That's my excuse anyway.

The first 4k tell me there is definitely a chance of more opportunity Rob. Well done on closing the gap on last year's really strong performance.

Oh my word Plummy. That all sounds extremely painful and very grim. I'm glad you could manage to give us an update, which I'm sure many of us appreciate. I know it doesn’t help at all, but I'm sure many of us are rooting for you as you go through all of this.

I misremembered yesterday. We actually finished 15th last year. I could have sworn we were 6th or 7th. :^o #-o

Re: Virtual Team Challenge

It's early days, but not the greatest of starts. We are 16th at the moment, compared to our normal position around the middle of the Top-10. Assuming some of our leading distance rowers sign up soon we should recover - at the moment we only have 3 of our top-10-by-distance members registered for the...

[...]That messed up my rhythm and the screen showed 21 strokes for that so I started again (looking back afterwards it corrected itself to 20 so I could have gone on!) This also happened to me. Warning to all ErgZone users: You may see 20(+1) as your rating at the end of an interval. This may then ...

January ctc - 6x250m / 1‘r / 20spm / slowest to count

Well this really is a weird one, as we have discussed on this thread and has been discussed on the CTC forum. I really don;t get this event, and actually doing it makes it more confusing. As it turns out I managed a rating of 20 in every interval, but in some ErgData had told me I had done 21spm. If...
