I'm very sorry to hear that you these issues. This really sucks, when sessions are even not saved in tje internal memory.
Last week I suddenly had issues too. Same like yours.

Mardix, I'll do that (and I'll create a "SkiErg cross training thread", if it does not exist). Promised.mardix wrote:It will be great to get a report once you've had a chance to use it and compare it to the rower.

Hi Darren One thing I am really looking for is a start point. [...] 6ft2 41 year old guy. No real exercise for many years and trying to break the habit. Hey Boris, What did I do wrong? Why didn't the videos work for me? Hey Greg, to embed a video just include only the id of the youtube video (without pasting the full full url) between both tags. In your editor windows should look like this: Not like this: htt...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?
Boris, I'd say you'd smash anything from 5k up if you did a full on TT at this stage. Thanks for your encouragement, Paul. ^O^ ^O^ --- Yesterday I had issues with my left knee. #-o It's some sort muscular tightness. :~c My plan was to do a long session 3-4x 40', but I had to quit immediately after ...

Paul : You're really putting in huge meterage Boris and at a very respectable pace. I can see you doing some very fast TTs if you decide to tackle the middle to longer distances head on. Awww… What are for you "middle to longer distances"? It was quite hot and humid and I tried slowing do...

Re: Training towards a 6:20 2k
@hewitt Decided that I am going to knock these early morning sessions on the rower on the head. They do nothing for me except lower my confidence in myself. If I am not fully awake there is no point slogging my guts out on the most inforgiving thing in the gym. #-o Jason>> Just considering doing suc...

Re: New toy! (PM5 monitor)
Under normal circumstances, a set of Alkaline D cell batteries should last in a PM3 or PM4 for about 350 hours of operational time, and about 200 hours of operational time in a PM5.

It's very hard to take decisions like this. But in the long term it's very wise. Kudos! I wish for you, that you'll recover quite quick, Kirby. Best of luck for you.kirbyt wrote:I've decided to back off of training completely for a while. I need to address this issue before it gets serious.

Yes, me. But already at 80% battery capacity. Buying a new pair of D cells helped.
Seems the backlightning, Bluetooth connection to my phone and the ANT+ connection to my watch chews up a lot of battery.
