Just finished my second attempt. I was aiming for 3950, and with 3961 in the first rep and 3971in the second succeeded quite well.

Well, had a very satisfying attempt on this today. My second best 10K ever. My goal was 38:40, a 1:56 pace and ended out with 38:19.4, only 9 seconds slower than my PB. The question is, can I get to that PB?? The last 500m in 1:47.4 shows I was not completely wiped out. Very reluctant to try though....

Completely agree with the comments on the pacing. I expected to be able to row a 1:55 pace, and ended up with 3921 meters in the first rep, about 1:54.8. The second was relatively easy with that goal in mind, ended up with 3925m, and wondering what would have happened if I had gone a bit faster in t...

Great session, Paul. Glad I could inspire you a bit, but I think that wasn't really necessary

Out of solidarity also had a go at it. Managed to take almost 4 seconds off. Not very convinced during the race, splits going up and down, but thought it would be a pity to give up.

After a couple of days without rowing becaue of feeling a bit feverish I felt today strong enough to give it another go. My 1250m was about 6 seconds faster now, which explains most of the almost 8 seconds I'm overall faster then my previous attempt.
