Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

Today I fancied a strong Nonathlon attempt at a distance I had not scored this season yet. So stuck in 6k and set off to match my CTC 5k pace of 1:50 (1.49.9 to be precise). Thought if I could get close I'd have a decent score and an outside chance of beating a weakish PB. Managed 1:50/51 for 5k and...

Amazingly low HR Plummy, always makes me smile the difference in individuals. I think my HR gets up to 135 opening the post :)
On the other hand, you could just be miles fitter of course

Nice one John, isn't it great when an unexpected one just happens along!

Very impressive 60m Mr Skinner. Looks like many of your other times now need re-visiting (especially the 2k)

Nice one 8) Well done both.
Looks like C2 UK have amended their achievement programme to something more akin to C2 US.
Instead of the paper cirtificate I was expecting for my recent 3MM, I've now got the choice of a towel or a mug :P Cool.

Re: Nonathlon 2009

It's probably an anomily (sp?) of the ranking rather than Nonathlon Dave. If you look at the number of participents ranking 5k pieces I bet it's a lot higher than 2k, which would make a difference on where you stand. My guess anyway ...

Re: Meter board banter

Hey Wolfie, if you're out there listening....how about the Blue Moon row on Tuesday, 5/20? Two rows of 5K each. It'll notch another 10k and move us closer to this year's 2MM...if that's the goal at the end of the year. I'll keep an eye out for you. Seth Hi Seth, thanks for the prompt. I should be O...

Re: Fantasy Football

Well I held on to 3rd spot despite not having a goal keeper - had not realised David James was injured and thank goodness Hart was not responsible for that 8-1 hammering City received on Sunday. Finished in the top third overall which is the best I have ever done in a fantasy league. Congratulation...

Got to disagree with that Thomas. Anyone with kids has to go to the Rainforest cafe more than once :)
