Thankye muchly.

Not quite sure how the last person to arrive gets to bump everyone else down a slot. Suppose it serves them right for not getting on with things and adding another million.

Now I really will incur Jill's backlash #-o

Re: Update coming to forum software + a question...

The forum is the driver of the site. Most other stuff is secondary. If you were to drop many of the other content pages, then some way needs to be found to create a new landing page so that any visitors to the site still get to understand the ethos of why Free Spirits, and thus why they might want t...

But since it is our challenge it would be good to see a high turnout, especially as it seems numbers drooped a little last month.

Now it's time to go home and summon up the energy to give this a go.

I wasn't that motivated to erg last month with so many problems with the PM5. I'm surprised this didn't take more of a toll on my weight.

Re: What should be the challenge for the August ctc

Thanks for all the organisation. A minor observation on the post on the CTC thread is that this was a 3x9min row with 3 min intervals. I think the original concept was to give it some sort of witty title to show there is a theme behind it going back to the original discussion thread: As we are 9 yea...

Re: New toy! (PM5 monitor)

Batteries are fine 95%. Haven't set anything as favourite so that all remains as the default.

Oh and don't waste time posting a critical post on the Concept 2 forum. It disappears. Which leaves support that has stopped working. Might be a very sniffy phone call or two on Monday.

Re: New toy! (PM5 monitor)

I'm in the situation that as my rows are not being recorded anywhere I have no incentive to even get on my rower. My emails to support seem to now be getting ignored, or perhaps they have such a massive problem that support is overwhelmed? I wonder if my post "awaiting moderation" on the C...

Re: What should be the challenge for the August ctc

Paul's new suggestion wasn't 3x3min with 3rest. That was just an example. Indeed presenting it like that you lose the connection with Free Spirits being 9 years old.

It was a 9 minute total row with a total of 3 minutes rest. You were free to decide how to split the 9 minutes and 3 minutes.

Re: What should be the challenge for the August ctc

It occurs to me that if we are looking for a themed CTC based on the word Free (and its numerical equivalent 3) and also celebrating the fact that we have been in existence for 9 years, then an alternative option might be to have 9 minutes rowing in total, with 3 minutes rest in total and with comp...

Re: What should be the challenge for the August ctc

Good question Paul. The masochists amongst us would suggest that it's 3 mins rest in total, you are free to split that however you see fit. From a participation perspective, those who don't do longer rows will prefer each interval to be three minutes but that doesn't work quite so well with the free...

Re: August CTC - Free Spirits to choose challenge

Yep I'd be "happy" in the masochistic sense of rowing to do the free spirits 9 year old minutes with free (3') rests.

Re: New toy! (PM5 monitor)

And another lost row. Rerow of a 12x7:30min 2:30rest workout which I bailed on after 5 intervals due to the heat. The USB stick is clearly being read as I can view the old workouts. It all just falls apart when it needs to write the data :( I hope Concept come up with some answers very very soon.
