Nice row Paul, how's that sub 19 eating away at you two days later? :) Eddie's C2 IP has me doing 30R20 once a week, unrestricted HR. Did 7846 today @1:54.7 I'm really pleased with this, as my only other previous attempt was a real struggle @1:59.9 to break 7500 (7560). Low end power improvements ar...

Are you sure Stan? There are enough questions being asked about possible anomylies that there might be something in it. Certainly no good just assuming all is working as it is when a probable 5 minute check would clear it all up. I wouldn't want us to be recording meters in error, we have enough pro...

My 2nd attempt. Aimed for 1:47/500 but could only hold on for 1:47.4
Still, just 10m in front of our new Jason with 4189. An easy challenge for him wouldn't you say.
By the way, has anyone said ... "this is hard!"

hey Spike, chin up. You know you only have yourself to blame  I hope it is as you've described and not the full dislocation. It's totally normal to have withdrawal symptoms too, you are not on your own. Plummy, please do provide the details of the session with Tom. Are you going down to his pl...

Congrats... Great distances all. This one makes me long for the 2K  (sort of). As usual, it takes me a while to finally get psyched up enough to try these CTCs. Also as usual... its this forum that gets me there. ^O^ Happy with 4101. Pretty steady on the pacing, 29-30 SPM, 110 damper, had to...

It's a small world!

I know it's a cliche (how do you get the accent on the e?) and that there are alot of knackerd old rugby players in this rowing game, but it turns out that Woj and I briefly played for the same rugby team some years ago 8) , AND Spikola and I were almost certainly on opposing sides in the early 90's...

Well done to him! I plugged in the first 15 minutes of my hard 5,000m today. 4,143m for FS IV. I can obviously do better but I am in awe of some of the distances already posted and wonder what everyone has been eating this month!! Yes indeed. Great rows Mark & Kirby, we shake our heads in awe. ...

Thomas, I think if you can row gently for 10 minutes, that's enough to stop the attack of lactic acid and let your HR recover. 2:30/500 is fine. You should always try and stretch off also though. The iced bath is a fine theory, and does work for the international rugby teams. But that's really for t...

Posted 3979 @ 1.53.1. I was just on for 4K at half way but faded a little. I've finished up 0.8 inside my 5k Pb so in view of my current form it makes that my best row in ages. Heart rates were slightly terrifying. peaking at 205 during the sprint but sitting in the 190's for an awfully long time! ...

First attempt for me too (was going to be my only one!) but it felt laboured and I'll have to have another go. Especially as one of our newbies Mr Spikola is 3m infront of me
