Get to lightweight and stay there.

Stop taking long breaks between serious training.

Re: Help me find my rowjo

Thomas...hmm that could have been my post...except I have not done any cycling. Instead of my job it is my husband's...he will be in California for the next 4-5 months so I am wearing all the hats in the family at the moment. Motivation to row is somewhere around -10. I suggest starting small. Tell ...

Re: April CTC: 1 minute

Have not had much time for erging of late. Glad this was such a short one.

291m 1:43.1 faded a bit at the end and the SR dropped

I did prompt Claire to take a stab at this...but have not seen her post a result yet. This seems like it would be right up her alley as it is all about power.

Re: Boston/BIRC 2012 training Group

Way going to do a sprint session but saw a HM with Lee so joined that HM over sprints. Sounds like a decision I would have made. I have been doing sessions, but only a couple of the ones Pete assigned. Figured I ought to start this 2 week block of right so did the 1500,500,250 with a t...

Anyone had any PBs recently?

Set the df to 226, which is the best feel for me and set off without warming up. Ended up with a very slow first 12 min split and a hanging on for grim death last 12 min split. Grim death had me laughing! Sounds about right for a PB. Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing the properly warmed up...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

Hope I've finally come to my senses. Seeing the GP on Friday morning and no erging today. Hoping to make it to the gym tomorrow to do some CV work on the stationary bike and I'll report my sessions here, so please feel free to chide me if I'm not reporting anything. Re: Meter board banter

Plummy that was intentional! You can go off people you know  I had intended it to be only one meter, but I was doing a 'Just Row' and it stopped a meter too far. You know if you had not said anything I would not have even been looking at the meterboard. But now it has become some sort of h...

Well I got my effort in early this month. I have not given up my procrastinating ways, but the focus shifted to procrastinating on all the workouts Pete sent. #-o http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/1430/ctcmarch12012.jpg I can already feel my thighs aching so suspect I will be sore tomorrow. In the absence of some muscular galley slave drum-master to keep me in time, I took the kids metronome outside and gave it a go. I enjoyed it, I'm still smiling, It's ok! I managed 6621m, not earth shattering, but a line in the sand. Heart rate was mid AT to mid TR, so a little room to improve, par...

In the house where procrastinators rein supreme, I did my 11th hour effort last night after 11:30pm. Time was 9:58.0 (1:59.6) which is an improvement over last year's 2:00.3.
