While it is still a long way to get back to where I was at BRIC 2021 (PB with 6:37.5) I am very happy with this month’s CTC. Finally back in Boat I (at least for now, still some days left)

First somewhat competitive result since BRIC 2021. Finally on my way back to regular training and fitness. Hopefully I don’t have to pay for ignoring coaches pace target of 1:50ish, but if you through the dog a bone….

Yes, i have booked it all. So will be attending.
As I am also not training at the moment as you can see from my worst stats ever (Meterboard etc), the main focus for me is to meet people I only met virtual so far, and to get some real experience from an IRC as I so far only have raced virtual.

Thanks Plummy! Knowing what you are going through your response means a lot. Often feel the temptation to curl up and throw in the towel, but then again, as always in life, if one doesn’t make the best of it and works on a solution it only gets worse.

Well, the hopes to avoid joining this thread for a while got crushed a few weeks ago. Neck/shoulder/arm trouble is back for full and painful. So no meters for a while from my end.
