Another brainstorm idea - would this be a good senior project for a college student to take on? (at this point, would probably have to wait for next fall semesters to start)

Jon - I just wanted to add my voice to those expressing thanks for your efforts. This really is a cool place to hang out given our shared interest. Maybe you could just rewrite the Meterboard to be your own baby? I've seen your handiwork in other places; surely you could do it! :D :D If you can't fi...

OK fellow members of FS1. I really am struggling health wise at the moment. I intend to put in a time but it will be terrible. If we could fill eight seats on top of mine that would be fantastic. I'll get one in, Jon. Hope your health improves quickly!! I'm slowly trying to recover some fitness aft...

That's right, Jill - played off Peter's Cher title with one by her younger version and her ex! Sorry for the delay. Been kind of busy for a retired guy.... :D

Thanks for the call-out, Peter! This one was significant for me as it's my very first Million-meter season since I bought my erg in 11/2011. Hopefully more of these in store! :)

Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?

This time was no accident - After several weeks of building up to it along with a handful of failed attempts, I finally managed to achieve a PB in the elusive 10K today. Finished nearly 8 seconds faster than my previous best with a 39:49.5. With this row, this is officially my "Season of PB's&q...

Yep, still hate sprinting. I felt like I was drowning with about 250m left, but managed to up the pace slightly in spite of it.

New PB time of 3:34.6

I’ll enter it later as the CTC site still hates this iPad.

If you have done it using a different user name then let me know and I can add old names to your scores automatically. Thanks ...

Re: Nonathlon 2023

Finally entered my last remaining event score today with the CTC's 500M sprint (I don't think I'll ever do a Full Marathon). Moved me up to #54 with a total score of 7716. Obviously, this is subject to any improvements I might make in the next 4 months... :)

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23

Even after that hurtful 500M sprint for the CTC, I managed a decent 2nd attempt at this month's 5K with a 19:42.6 - just a few seconds away from my PB.
