Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

No problem, Jon. I could calculate things myself of course, but your webpage has made me lazy. So, instead of looking up what the points should be I'll wait for you. I think the right scores are somewhat a minor problem in the world at the moment. Verstuurd vanaf mijn FP3 met Tapatalk I'm starting ...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

340's seem really high. The Jan challenge only had 193 boats (155 floated), so it doesn't seem from my reading of the post back in Jan 2023 that you could get more than 192 pts. I mean, I'm not complaining, haha. That’s correct. Something has gone wrong. I have a sinking feeling that as the CTC fol...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

I've started a new year in the board. Always slightly a bit more work, adding columns to the running totals sheet as well, but it's there. First of all a question for Jon: are these scores correct?? I don't know exactly how things are calculated anymore, there are a lot of participants this month, ...

That's a good session Spider. I wouldn't have a hope of keeping track of the splits to be able to -ve them all!

I'm still mostly plodding on with 3x10 r20 sessions at the moment, so not posting them here.

ZoomErgos session with Matt Parish today. 4x8min 2:00r with various rating changes from 22-26. I find these video rows far easier to get through than a solo session.

I have gone for the 15-hours option but I don;t think I will get anywhere near it. I'm mixing up my training a lot more this year and so time on the ergo has dropped significantly. That's my excuse anyway.

The first 4k tell me there is definitely a chance of more opportunity Rob. Well done on closing the gap on last year's really strong performance.

Oh my word Plummy. That all sounds extremely painful and very grim. I'm glad you could manage to give us an update, which I'm sure many of us appreciate. I know it doesn’t help at all, but I'm sure many of us are rooting for you as you go through all of this.

It's early days, but not the greatest of starts. We are 16th at the moment, compared to our normal position around the middle of the Top-10. Assuming some of our leading distance rowers sign up soon we should recover - at the moment we only have 3 of our top-10-by-distance members registered for the...

[...]That messed up my rhythm and the screen showed 21 strokes for that so I started again (looking back afterwards it corrected itself to 20 so I could have gone on!) This also happened to me. Warning to all ErgZone users: You may see 20(+1) as your rating at the end of an interval. This may then ...
