I had switched off the https whilst they got back to me. But Tapatalk appears to be working with https (I'm using it now) so I think (hope) we're sorted. I've turned https back on anyhow.

You shouldn't notice anything, but I today did a big update to the meterboard such that it will auto rollover at the end of the season. It does something like: backup the database copy the final meterboard page and make a link to it at the top of the new page zap everyone's metres back to zero notes...

FWIW I do hardly any coding now, in life or on this site.

I looked at "Like" buttons a while ago but there was no plug in. I try to avoid plugins now because they cause problems on upgrades. Saying that, if you find a mature plugin that does that, tell me and I'll take a look.

Names on the meterboard would be a challenge, but possible with effort. I'd have to remember to record the donor list in two places though since I'm not keen to start addressing the forum database with my code any more (very minor lyrics!) than I do already. I change the colour and icon of the donor...
