Re: It's been a long time

Thanks for all the kind words :fswink: It will be a slow road but I'm in no rush, training 4 times a week, a mixture of cross trainer, erg, running and bike, nothing too strenuous but I'm really enjoying it! Watch this space, I'll start posting some times when I'm less embarrassed about them  ...

Hi all, just thought I'd drop you freespirits a line and see how things are going! After close on 2 years without any training following a serious bout of back injuries I got back in the saddle last week! Managed 2 very slow 20' sessions and it hurt like hell. Have a plan go get back into it but not...

Re: Smart Phone Applications

Andy - I just had a look at this out of curiosity. Is it true that people can see what you are doing in real 'live' time? If so it is potentially a fantastic source of information for burglars etc. to find out who is not at home. It is so easy to find out where people live these days. Hi Jane You c...

Smart Phone Applications

I have been kept amused by the ibingo thread and it got me thinking......... I'm fairly new to the world of smart phones and bit the bullet about 3 months ago and purchased an iPhone. To say I would be lost without it now is an understatement. Thought I would see if we could share ideas on applicati...

Re: Football thoughts

I also agree Referee's have a tough job. I'm an avid football watcher and the decision in the Manchester derby was the correct one to the letter of the law however very harsh in my opinion. I think that we could improve how football is refereed however fans such as myself would soon complain that th...

Need to get on board with this challenge but really unsure which way to go about it.

In one moment of madness I thought about halfing the distance and take a full 7' rest before starting the second half, any views?

Sorry I asked now  To be honest Jase I think the last 4 points you have took are papering over the cracks, a little bit like our win over Chelsea, we both have owners who don't understand the passion an dedication of the British footy fan, I do however feel we are both stuck with the owners we ...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

Nice hour Dave, I enjoy a low rate 60' session, pitty my legs dont!!

A 10k for me again today, struggled to get going for while, HD demons were milling around again, managed to push through and achieve a time just under 39', not too bad considering my firsy 2k splits were 2:02
