Re: February 19 CTC - 2k

John Steventon has announced his change of plan for the February CTC on Facebook: "We invite you to row 2801m (28th Jan). A rate cap of 19 can be used to make the full date of 28/01/19. However, as Anne loved a race, feel free to go all out. I know I will. Please remember that the 14th of February w...

Re: February 19 CTC - 2k

Thanks for the notification, Fred - yes, a 2k is not simple at all :!: Well, another notification. With the recent and very sad loss of Anne Yates there is a wish for a memorial row or rather challenge in memoriam :!: It´s not clear yet if it will be in February or maybe later - Dougie seems to be o...

Re: January 19 CTC - 20/R20

Erik, Well done on getting above 5000m and on floating boat I. Given everything you went through in 2018 that's a very nice way to start the new year. Thanks for your kind words, Max :!:  With my incidents in Janury 2017 and June 2018 in mind, I would like a year without any - if possible....

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

Thanks for the updates, and the seemingly very demanding task of keeping track of lifetime ctc´s :!: ^O^ (For me I started as Erik Pedersen, then at a point changed it to Liefcat. And on one occasion I couldn´t scroll down to L on my Smartphone, so had to make a new "A Liefcat" to be able to make an...

Re: October CTC - Actual Poll

Yes, I think your suggestions are very fine, Jill :!: :D

My impression is that the actual formulation of the challenge in the past has been more up to a trusted person, who in turn can also get some feedback from an organizer, than it has been a democratic poll... :-k :!: :?:

I find that rapper reference too fanciful - unless the actual person is or has been a huge fan.

Yes, with the reservation of speaking more of the October than the headline September, I support Tako´s suggestion, I think it is very creative :!: Of course I would like some feedback from the person of honour or people around her that it would be ok for her :?: :!:

I support the idea that Team Oarsome get the right to choose the September ctc. Also if that´s our Team´s decision, that some representative from us communicates this to a broader audience :!:

Just a quick update, I don´t think you would regard my short walks, maybe half a mile in total, for training. Cardiac arrest on 2nd of June, CPR successful: ROSC after 16 minutes. Shortly after sedated and intubated. Then hospitalized, first on ICU then "normal" Cardiac Unit. Got an ICD on the 11th ...
