Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

The year has come to an end, the scores of 2024 are final now. And the winner is: Ian ^O^ ^O^ ^O^ ^O^ ^O^
44 points ahead of Mat, due to missing the Valentine's challenge. Fir the rest they had exactly the same scores. They are quite a bit ahead of the rest.
There are a few 'heavy scorers' who ...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

I could leave the L and H away in the sheet, but overall there aren't that many fluctuations.
Should someone enter two scores in one ctc I'll only use the highest score. So, should you loose or gain weight or go into transition and enter twice that month there's some calculating to do I guess ...

Re: Holiday Challenge / Your December goals

Goal was to get that pin as well. Having less time to row than before, busy with other sports and such, still wanterd to get this one. Now I want to set a decent CTC score, but I'm relatively mild for myself as in what a decent score might be.

Re: December ctc - 15 christmas crackers

Yet another heavyweight aboard. Being busy with the holiday challenge I didn't do any short stuff lately. After ahving been to the gym today I thought I could have a go on this one.
After the first two reps I thought finishing was most important, just to set a score and maybe try to get it better ...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

With five new participants it was a bit more work, so I have to hurry now to make it in time for an appointment.
Welcome to those five Teri might be Teri ZM, who rowed another one in 2017, but not sure.
Good luck in this last month :fswink:

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

October's results have been added at last... A warm welcome to John McKenzie (whose name was on the overall Running totals sheet, but I don't see any previous CTC's of him) and welcome back to Morten. My guess is that Barbara Gahn is the same as Barbara G. (L) who participated a couple of times the ...

Very worried about the election next week as well. Not only about Trump, but also about Musk. Don't know what will happen, but with his money and Trump in the White House, I'm sure the world will one way or another suffer.

Not yet sporting in the vicinity of others, used yesterday's row as target. Trying to do every interval faster, in which I succeeded. Maybe it works another time.
Ended in 21:09.6 now.

Because of my coughing and sneezing and spreading Covid mildly around I didn't want to go to the gym today, rowed this challenge without overdoing it. Who knows, plenty of time to get a better result. Now finished in 21:20.2.

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

Earlier than last month I've added September's results.
Milestones weren't displayed properly anymore, perhaps due to some copying of wrong cells to the wrong place by me in the past, but as far as I can see it is corrected now. And that shows that Liefcat has rowed his 200th CTC. Marvellous ^O^ ^O ...

Terribly sorry for the delay, hopefully September scores will be entered quicker.
Anyway, Kay has entered the top 3, Clare the top 10, great. And congratz to Mat, one hundred CTC´s ^O^ ^O^

Tough. Rowed 2266 meters, don't think I'll have another go. Going on holiday next Wednesday and I didn't like this one so much that I'm trying again this weekend.

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

The sheet has been updated again. It lists 24 participants for July, one less then in Jon's overview, but Erik P (Liefcat) is mentioned twice there. I have corrected the points for the subsequent rowers, hope that went well.
Impressive: Pete is the third FS to reach the 200 CTC milestone. Liefcat ...

Re: Rowlympic Challenge

Finished the challenge today with a 2K which went absolutely terrible. My legs didn't like it at all. I was satisfied with yesterday's 10K, perhaps that's the reason for the way I felt today.
Hadn't it been for the challenge I would have HD'd after a few hundred meters. Sort of sprinting in the ...

6 out of 8 here as well. 10K and 2K still to go. Just rowed the 1K, within half an hour of finishing the 6K so obviously not optimal, but still ok. Completing them is challenging enough for me, but who knows, I might try to get some better results when all is done.

Just finished a 6K as part of the Rowlympics. Entered my time in the CTC chart as well and noticed something strange. Liefcat (Erik P) is both in the 2nd as the 3rd FS boat.

Re: Rowlympic Challenge

Not at all very active on the C2 lately, but certainly have the intention of finishing this. With 'participating is more important than winning' in mind. Yesterday finished three events, 1 min (316m), 10 min (2512m) and 30 min (7239m). Plan is a 10K today.
The pace is nowhere near the pace I had ...

By the way, I think the time entered by Lesley was the time for the July challenge. Over 28 minutes. Is possible of course, but would be a very very slow 624 meters.
