Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

Four new entry's this month. Two completely new, welcome Jo and Alan, have fun... Max missed this month which makes him drop from #1 to #6. Claudius an Lesley, very close to one another, are now #1 and #2. Makes me #3 now, but is absolutely well deserved. The link, still the same... https://docs.goo...

Re: Nonathlon 2021

Well done Fred. There’s nothing like being well prepared.....and that was nothing like being well prepared  I keep trying to convince myself I will have a go at my first FM this season. Let’s see. Thanks Jon, my head says half a Marathon is by far far enough, my heart says go for it. For m...

Re: Nonathlon 2021

Don't know why I did it (well, actually I do, also participating in the FMMC with the FM programmed this month, but don't know why I convinced myself to do it) but I did. Without proper preparation (rowed less then 30K totally the last month) rowed a Marathon today. The last one (of which I actually...

Re: Musical Opinions - add yours here :-)

Perhaps I'll try out some more, in the mean time thanks for Celeste.
Of course not the same but somehow in the same line, been listening to Tash Sultana lately, like her as well.

Great rowing there, Wolfie. Wonderful how you managed to keep the pace.

Re: August ctc : 2020 in pieces - 4 x 505m with 2 minutes rest, and take the time of your slowest 505m interval

My 2nd one as well, first intention was a 1:46 pace, the first rep felt okay, so to the end aimed for a 1:45 pace. Resulting in 1:45.9 for the 505 m, 0.1 faster then Claudius. But I'm pretty sure he's not done yet. Second rep was exactly the same result as the first one. Thought I had some kind of a...

Still warm over here as well, haven't rowed much since my vacation, but wanted to see how it would go.
Started out with a 1:47 pace in the first rep, which led to a 1:48 time, the slowest one.
Now let's see what improvement can be made. Not just for me, good luck everyone.

Re: Nonathlon 2021

Just updated my scores and noticed that Fred was sitting on a rather tasty total of 8218 points. Great total for so early in the season =D> You switched the two inner figures, Max [emoji6]. Not that far yet. And, of course, not as impressive as Lesley and especially Pepe. Verstuurd vanaf mijn FP3 m...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

A bit later in the month due to my vacation, but here's the new sheet. Still handwork, I wonder whether Jon might have ideas about this. No worries Jon, I don't mind keeping the scores, the only thing is that it's not ready the first of the new month. Welcome Kevin, the first entry for you, a big we...

I can start up the new meta-nonathlon soon if people want me to, but I certainly would have no objection if it gets integrated into this analyser instead. I certainly appreciate the information in the meta-nonathlon page, Roger. I can imagine that you're not very keen on updating the board when not...

Re: July ctc - 2112m

Great results again in the last few days. Perhaps, tomorrow, one last try before going on vacation. Kind of all or nothing perhaps to regain a seat in Boat 1. Don't think it will work and if it might no doubt only temporarily but it might be some kind of fun (?) to give it a shot.

Re: July ctc - 2112m

My first and probably only attempt this month. Going on holiday next Sunday, the gym opened up again, we've started on water again as well, so there's a lot less erging going on at the moment. Had no idea what the others had rowed before I started, had seen the posts but hadn't remembered the scores...

Re: Name that tune

I read the posts here every now and then, and really don't have much input. Age should 't be the problem, turning 60 later this year. So far the introduction, this time I at least think to know the name of the group: Portugal the man. The name of the song slipper my mind though. Kind of retro disco ...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

You still are, Jon, great. Even 4 points further away from number 10. A thread for you is of course James Hayter, rapidly moving towards the top 10. WIth 2 CTC's missing, that's a great job. Three completely new entry's this month. Amongst which Crushy active on the forum as well. Welcome to all of ...

Re: Free Spirits CTC Participation and Leaderboard

I had completely forgotten about this last month. Now I have processed the May scores. Quite a lot of re-entry's. And Clare Burrell's 100th according to the list, Roger Burrell's 125th as well as Liefcat's 150th. ^O^ The June results will appear later today I think so hurry when you're very interest...

Re: June CTC

With boat 1 out of reach of course decided to have another go anyway. It's our own challenge and I thought a second attempt was necessary. Not as warm as it was earlier this week, the conditions were ok ;). The goal was simple: every interval faster as last time. Managed 4423 meters, last time 4379,...

Originally planned to do something else today, CTC for instance, with Wolfie so close to me :fswink: , but had to do some work and my wife needed the study for her work (where my C2 is located) so decided to do a 500m, which was my lowest score to date in the Nonathlon. Very pleased with the result,...

It's certainly stimulating, Jon. Got rid of my last lght green 'score' and turned it into blue, 905 points for 7840 meters in 30 minutes. Thought it might be to warm to achieve a score like this but I managed. A nice even pace with something left in the end. Here a higher pace then my 5K as well, so...
