Seems it's too obscure then, final big clue... it's not a lyric within the song, but a comment at the end of the track
Hi Steve. Hope you're keeping well. Maybe if you quoted an actual lyric from the song, we might recognise it? Just a thought....

Re: Name that tune

Hi Jill

It's pretty recent. Here's the full verse.

Tell me something, boy
Aren't you tired tryin' to fill that void?
Or do you need more?
Ain't it hard keeping it so hardcore?

wow, as you say, I know the song very well but would never have guessed it from the verse. Quite odd.

Don't know yours either Paul
The line I picked is probably not that helpful. I've added the previous line.

Or do you need more?

I think that's "Dance the Night Away" by The Mavericks. One of the many songs I've butchered at karaoke over the years.

Paying a rare visit to the website to see how everyone is getting on. I'm very sad to hear that news about Dave. I met him a few years ago at Madchester and he was just such a lovely person. My condolences to his family and friends.

Re: October CTC - 1934m/2206m/400m/200m 2'r

Just wanted to pop in to say hi. It's good to see such a high turnout for this month's CTC in honour of Gillian - notwithstanding the complicated nature of the challenge. Well done to Free Spirits for floating 8 boats! I've been doing practically no erging due to ongoing back problems, but put in a ...

Re: what training have free spirits been doing today?

Currently in Alvor and my back has been acting up, so I haven't rowed since I got here. But it was a bit better today, so I did just over 7k 'just row' at just over 2:03 pace. Hopefully, my back will not react badly tomorrow! I'm flying home tomorrow and at a wedding in Wexford on Saturday, so it wi...

I think another clue is needed. A: Okay, what's our back story? B: We're brothers from New Hampshire. We're venture capitalists. A: I'm sick of that. Let's be from Vermont. And let's have an emerging maple syrup conglomerate. B: Wait, that's stupid. We don't know anything about maple syrup. Mid noug...

Re: Signature image generator - bug tracking and information

Hopefully, you'll get a chance to look at things when you get back Thomas. I updated my signature yesterday for this season's results, but it's still showing my old signature with last season's results. That's usually a cache issue. If you're on Windows, try shift-f5 in your browser window. If on M...

Lower back still acting up and my right shoulder is now a bit sore, so I haven't been on the erg since I did the CTC 10k on Saturday. I'll possibly do a gentle 'just row' this afternoon or tomorrow just to see if that makes things better or worse. I think that full on sessions and sprinting are prob...
