Re: Name that tune

I can only think of one more song from George Ezra and I don't know if it's off the same album and that's: Shotgun (I think that's what it's called anyway).

Re: September ctc - 5k, standing start, unrestricted

Had my usual early in the month stab and managed 20:20.2 - which annoyingly was only 0.7s slower than my SB. If I hadn't backed off 3 times there were a couple of Nonathlon points available possibly...grrr Thanks Dave, you gave me the motivation to keep going and get into boat 1 for the second mont...

Hi Colin, I've resurrected you from underwater and you are re-instated (even with gold stars!)

Well done on getting to the quarter century James - superb effort there. =D> =D>

Re: Extra points

The scoring looooooong since lapsed. Major points were always scored at race meets in the past but as FS members infrequently attend and of course events are moving to on-line it'll be a long time before there'll be enough movement to resurrect it I think. One for the future maybe though !

Blimey Jainser - long time no see!!

Re strapless, I've never seen any posted times. It's something I've never mastered (or care to try) as a technique.

No - sorry Wolfie. Not even close on that one.

This song was associated with a half decent film.

I have a hunch the band might be The Verve with Richard Ashcroft as the front man. The only song I can think of by them was Bitter Sweet Symphony?

Given the magnitude of the task and inherent history of mods and patches over the decade and a half we've been around, the switchover appears to be going well so far. Thank you to you both for your efforts. One thing I have spotted is that the meterboard appears to no longer show the automatic calcu...
