Re: Anyone had any PBs recently?
Congrats on your first HM! They do get easier though, I set PB's each of the 3 times I've done a HM.

Re: January ctc - 6k TT
First successful attempt at this months challenge, 27:43.4
It hurt, the demons came out to play at around 3.5k, but that was 700m later than during my first (failed) attempt.

Re: Time/distance predictor...
I've only just found the pace predictor, and giving it my 1k and HM times yields spookily accurate results for some of the longer rows... 5k was *exact*, down to the 1/10th, 10k was 2 seconds slower than reality, and 60 mins was 32m more than I achieved. All of those PB's were around the same time, ...

Re: January ctc - Free Spirits to decide
I'm only one week back in to rowing, so I'll just go with whatever, because at the moment, any distance/time hurts.

Re: Nonathlon 2022
Were Nonathlon hacked a few years ago? I've been *very* wary of going near the site ever since I started getting spam mails to the address I used for nonathlon (and nothing else)
It's a shame, as I enjoyed it as a challenge

Welcome Jayne. I live just down the road from you in Bath. Pleased to hear that Santa has come early to your house. I've sent in my list, but so far nothing! #-o If you have any questions just jump on the main forum and ask away. Jon I wish Santa had come early, would have saved me a bucket load of...

Re: December ctc - 1k @ 24spm
Not done much rowing at all since mid 2017, so it was a bit of a tester for me too. My thighs aren't on fire any more, so I'll try and put in a few k before work in the morning, and start building fitness again. Perhaps by the end of the month, I'll be slightly closer to 4:00

Re: "About me" - a place to introduce yourself
Hi, I'm Jayne, currently residing near Bristol, UK. I started this madness around 2013 to lose weight, but despite getting reasonably ok at erging, the pounds remain :-( Had a few spells away due to moving around the country, health issues and that virus closing everything, but our mini home gym mys...
