Re: Logging Results
Hi, here is my training log if any of you are interested. It is a calendar that will add up all your metres per month and session and will add to your lifetime meters. I has all the days highlighted that have a C2 challenge on them with a description that is required to complete the challenge in bot...

Re: Logging Results
I use Krew on Android, but I have also created a Excel spreadsheet that I can print out and write on then update later in computer. It tracks meters per month, lifetime meters and season meters and I have also put on all of the concept 2 challenges. It needs a few more tweaks, it was a rush job, and...

Re: 2018/19 Summary and Aspirations for 2019/20
Last Year for me was my first year Erging, this included alot of learning about how much my back could take. My main goal last year was to get fit enough to row a 3hour marathon and then I would have a crack at a 100km. But I injured myself to often pushing to much, I failed the crazy bear challenge...

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests
Hi, I just completed a full marathon for the challenge that is running at the minute, and I haven't been given a red foot on the meter board. My 3 half marathons are under the black foot. I only did it for the Red foot so if it can be fixed I would very much appreciate it. Cheers Jim

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
That is truly awesome Juergie. I failed the challenge. I managed 27 (and a half lol). If my back would have held up I was easy going to finish it but it flared up on 22 and it was a really struggle to get the last few done until it buggered up again. Next year I will take extra breaks BEFORE I do to...

Re: Millionaires club-Season
Thanks Jill, yes 8 left, I was trying to get them all done buy this Sunday, but did to much and aggravated my back problem on Wednesday, so I'm sidelined for a sec, but I will definitely finish it.

Re: Height / Weight and 2k performance
Hi Greg, I filled it out for you, but maybe you need a question that asks how long they have been rowing for and how fit they think they are. I have only been rowing 6months ish and most of that wasn't proper training. The times I did my 2K and 10K I would have thought I could beat those now by some...

Re: Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests
Hi Thomas, just a little thing I noticed on the meterboard, I'm not showing having done the holiday challenge 50k or 100k snowman. I'm Jim Swinfield on the Meterboard. Thanks

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
Thanks Juergie. What time do you start yours in the morning as you always have it done it seems before I get to work. Also if you are getting up early are you doing it on an empty stomach or eating first, and if you are eating do you leave it a bit to go down? Sorry for all the questions, still lear...

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
I just got halfway with number 15. After 2 days of struggling with back after 3k this one felt ok, so went for an overall PB. Got it, 1:31:46.6, 9Secs faster than previous and 1min52secs than CBC PB. Well chuffed.

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
Thanks Tako, Jurgen is smashing it, he has not had 1 day off ^O^ , I have had to have 2 days off to rest so far, I did 7 in a row and then had to rest, then 4 and rest, I have also had 2 days that I wanted to row but because of other things getting in the way was unable to (well, that's sort of a li...

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
I've got the first 2 done, times are very slow (my PB is only a 1:31:55 anyway) as digging and laying path at the weekend and previous 2 weekends has really hurt my back problem. So I am just going steady at the moment so I can at least keep ticking them off. 10th Nov - 1:37:17 11th Nov - 1:37:18 As...

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge
2 nights ago I created a new spreadsheet for the Crazy Bear himself - who freely admitted he's been so busy at work he's barely been able to think about setting it up. He said he's had numerous requests about it so I think it WILL be happening but might be a bit last minute. I've changed it this ye...

Re: August ctc - 6 x 1' / 1'r, rolling starts except #1
Cool, I have been chatting with Paul (hopefully getting together this weekend) and he mentioned these CTC's. I will do them as well and will set myself up on it this weekend. We could have a nice little group of virtual rowers on the island at this rate. I put a shout out on Strava for more rowers a...

Training Partner Requests
Hi, I have sent out a few Training Partner requests on the Concept website, people who are around (ish) my age and are in to the long distance stuff.
I just want to get an idea what type of training they do and how much.
