Re: Concept 2 Error code 121-37 PM4

Thanks guys. With luck now I can actually follow a programme I will progress in my pace. I have had a machine for 3 years but only managed 300k over that time. It has been difficult to firm a habit living away from home so frequently. This will remove the excuses. I was lucky with the second machine ...

Re: Concept 2 Error code 121-37 PM4

It is OK I have resolved the issue. For the benefit of others I had to go through this process. Remove the patteries from the PM for a number of hours, in my case it was 4 but C2 advise overnight. When you reinstall the batteries hold the units and display button simultaneously, this will do a full ...

Concept 2 Error code 121-37 PM4

Hi, I have just bought a secondhand model E with a PM4. When I connect it to a usb I get this code. There is no logcard in the machine. I have tried to do a firmware reset and update the firmware but it reports no device connected on the utility app. Rowpro recognises it is connected but the monitor ...

Re: Beginners

Hi Neil, Yes, 160 is the area I kind of settle at when rowing, I know I am working but it is a rate I can maintain for a 30 minute row. It is now 3 weeks since I got my rower and I have added almost 1000m to my 30 min distance. I am still well behind the distance an experienced rower would do but I ...

Re: Beginners

Neil, I have found exactly the same thing with RowPro training plan in respect of heart rate. I am not Mo Farah but I am relatively fit having completed a running half marathon last year with ease and a various other physical challenges over the year including a cycle from Cambridge to the Hague. I ...

Re: Beginners

Thanks Plummy, it was actually a timed row that I did, it was an eye opener for me to see how fast a properly fit, trained rower can go. It was like i was standing still.

Re: Beginners

Hi Neil,

It is good to see someone else begin this journey at the same time as me. Our purpose seems to be very similar. Your pace is a little ahead of mine though for the 2k.

I also signed up to RowPro, it would be good to row with you someday.

Re: Beginners

Yes Jon, I agree very friendly people. I have exchanged a few emails with them since but they are very committed rowers. The fast guy is looking to snatch the 2k record for my age group in a couple of months. I think he is in with a shout. He is ranked at number 5 on C2 at the moment. It was good to ...

How wrong could I have been!!!! Three other guys, nice and friendly chat at the start and then we were off. Bloody hell ...

That would be very rapid muscle development for a man of my age.

Re: January Virtual Challenge

Hi, I am a newbie but I have joined in on the virtual challenge........I think. I have registered on the C2 logbook and I have joined the freespirits team, I think that means I am in. I have looked at our rankings and we sit quite high up but we are slipping down the table each time I check. Is this ...

Looking forward to some lighthearted chat and helpful advice and encouragement. Happy to offer the same in return. Obviouslybeing a newbie my advice may be a bit more lightweight than myself initially.

Re: Beginners

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the welcome.

I have already joined the FS virtual team but I will check the others out.

I note your age and height matches mine. With a bit of time on the rower hopefully I will soon match your weight. LOL

All the best.

Re: Beginners

Hi, Just read this full thread, I have been looking for good friendly advice since I got my model E on Wednesday evening. It looks like you guys may have got the job. Previously I had only been using a rower as a warm up to gym sessions, I hadn't appreciated the extent of the benefit offered from ...
