Just curious - is there some significance to this distance of 6344 M? It is not quite 4 miles so I can't come up with a rationale for such an odd (well even I guess) number.

Good job Tako. I was hoping to improve on that time and the C2CTC but have been dealing with a lot of wrist pain; I think I overdid it on the Fall Team Challenge and brought along a case of tendonitis. Hopefully I'll be back at it soon and set a good mark for November.

Thanks Peter. Actually the pacing was all fly and die. I got the projected finish under 6 and then held on as long as I could. At 1200 I just closed my eyes and counted down for 50 strokes

Did this with the mile for IRL today. Did the mile first, then a 10 min easy row before the c2ctc. I did not have a lot left to give, the 1250 was 5 sec/500 slower than the mile earlier. 7:20.6

Thanks for getting that sorted Peter; I'll do my best to live up to the pressure I had accepted the idea I would not be on the team and decided not to try for a better mark, regretting that decision now.

I am not looking to boot anyone off the list, and there are certainly many who are faster than I am, but I will participate if there is a slot. I don't see there being enough interest for a second team. Either way I plan to do the sessions each month.
